Hi everyone! I want to tell you about a person that I really admire and had a chance to meet last year – Haile Gebrselassie, a champion marathon runner.
Haile Gebrselassie was born and grown up in Asella, Ethiopia and was an incredible athlete. He displayed fantastic talent and commitment on his path to success and quickly rose to tame in the sporting world. However, (1) . When Haile was a child, he lived on a farm in a rural area, and he had no access to transport services. In order to get an education, he (2) every day while carrying his books. This was a tough challenge for Haile. He had no interest in running at first however, he used the experience as regular training for his success.
People soon spotted Haile's astonishing speed and running ability, and his life changed completely when he (3) . Even though he hadn't had any real training before that, he quickly found success, and by 1998, he had become the world record holder in the 10,000 metres race. Haile then (4) in long-distance running. He won races and set a new world record in 2007.
Haile is famous for his unique and unusual running style. Even as an adult, he ran with one elbow pointing out as though he (5) . He is an amazing person, and from his success, we can all learn an important lesson: "Whichever background people come from, they can achieve great things if they by hard and believe in themselves."

Rashema’s Journey
A. Rashema Melson is an inspiring person who has achieved her goal of getting a full scholarship to college. She was born in Washington D.C. in 1996 and had dreams of being successful from an early age. However, (6) on her way to achieving her goal.
B. In her early years, life was very difficult for Rashema. She came from a very poor family and many times (7) . When she was 16 years old, she lived in a homeless shelter. She changed school often because (8) . But she was determined to be a good student and passed all her exams.
C. Despite being homeless, Rashema never gave up on her dream. At the age of eighteen, she graduated from Anacostia Highschool as one of the top students. Her hard work (9) . She arrived on campus with everything she owned in a plastic bad but she was determined to succeed. Four years later, Rashema graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Justice and Peace studies. After that, she worked with non-profit organizations and governments agencies to help homeless people. Today, she stills work to help poor communities through public speaking events.
D. Rashema Melson is a special person because (10) . I admire her because in spite of obstacles she continued to work toward her goal. She realized education was the way out and worked hard. Her success shows we should never give up. After all, our hard work can change everything.

The World’s STRANGEST Jobs
It's no secret that there are a lot of unusual jobs in the world, and some might even call them weird. Here are some odd occupations you've probably never heard of.
First is pet food taster. Believe it or not, there are actually people out there (11) ! The reason for this job is to ensure that the food meets the necessary nutritional standards before it can be sold. Pet food tasters have to have a keen sense of taste - and a strong stomach! - as they may be required to sample a variety of pet foods, from wet to dry and from meaty to vegetarian.
Next up is golf ball diver. It (12) a dream job for golf enthusiasts, but in truth, it's actually a tough job that involves diving into lakes and ponds to retrieve lost balls on golf courses. These balls are then cleaned, sorted, and (13) at a significantly lower price than new ones. This job can even be dangerous (14) , as divers have to deal with unpredictable weather or even the occasional alligator depending on the location!
Lastly, there's the professional wedding guest. This is a job that involves attending weddings as a guest without any personal connection to the bride or groom. These professionals are hired to fill outguest lists and generate a lively atmosphere. (15) or even give speeches in some cases. While these jobs may seem strange, they are all necessary in their own way. One thing is for sure: there is certainly a place for everyone in the working world!

Extraordinary people
There are people in this world who have incredible abilities that seem to (16) . Here are three real-life superheroes who have amazed the world with their talents.
Wim Hof, also known as ‘The Iceman’, is a Dutch man who has broken the limits of what humans can do in low temperatures. He has set several world records for his ability to (17) , including the longest ice bath and longest full-body contact with ice, although those records hove been broken many times. Wim has developed a method of breathing that allows him to control his body temperature and survive extreme cold. He has run a full marathon in the Arctic Circle and almost reached the peak of Mount Everest in just shoes and shorts in 2007!
Daniel Tammet, from the UK, is often called ‘The Human Calculator’, due to his incredible abilities to do maths. Daniel can solve complicated mathematical problems in his head (18) . Daniel also has an amazing language learning ability. He can speak a wide variety of different languages, including Icelandic, which he took just one week to learn! He has even written three books about his life and talents.
Stephen Wiltshire. aka. 'The Human Camera’, is a British artist with an incredible ability to draw detailed pictures of cities from memory. Wiltshire can take a brief helicopter ride over a city and perfectly recreate (19) . He has drawn famous cities like New York. Rome, and Tokyo, and his artwork has appeared in galleries around the world.
These three individuals have shown that human beings can do extraordinary things beyond what we can imagine. Their talents can inspire us to (20) and encourage us to achieve great things, even when they might seem impossible!
