Hi John,

I arrived in (1) USA last Monday. We left (2) Rome, flew over (3) Alps and made a quick stop in (4) London. There we went shopping at (5) Harrods, visited (6) Tower and enjoyed a sunny afternoon in (7) Hyde Park. On the following day we left for (8) New York. (9) time on board wasn't boring as there were two films to watch on (10) monitor. (11) people on (12) plane were all (13) Italian. Before we landed at (14) JFK airport, we saw (15) Statue of Liberty, (16) Ellis Island and (17) Empire State Building. (18) hotel I stayed in was on (19) corner of (20) 42nd Street and (21) 5th Avenue. I don't like (22) hotels very much, but I didn't have (23) time to rent an apartment.
