Tính từ là từ dùng để miêu tả đặc điểm, tính chất, trạng thái của người, vật, hay sự việc.
Ví dụ:
She is beautiful.
The dog is big.
This book is interesting.
Vị trí của tính từ:
Trước danh từ: a big house, a nice teacher.
Sau động từ “to be” hoặc các động từ chỉ cảm xúc:
He is tall.
The soup tastes good.
II. Trật tự tính từ (A1 – cơ bản)
Khi có nhiều tính từ cùng miêu tả một danh từ, ta thường theo thứ tự:
Opinion → Size → Age → Color → Material → Noun
Ví dụ: a beautiful big old red wooden house.
III. So sánh tính từ (Comparative & Superlative – mức mở rộng A1)
So sánh hơn: adj + -er + than hoặc more + adj + than
👉 tall → taller than / beautiful → more beautiful than
So sánh nhất: the + adj + -est hoặc the most + adj
👉 tall → the tallest / beautiful → the most beautiful
