A Day at School
Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a student at Green Valley School. Let me tell you about a typical day at school.
I wake up early in the morning at 6:30 am. After brushing my teeth and getting dressed, I have breakfast with my family. My mom usually makes toast and eggs, my favorite! Then, I grab my backpack and head to the bus stop. The bus comes at 7:30 am, and I ride it to school with my friends.
School starts at 8:00 am. Our first class is English. Our teacher, Mrs. Smith, is very nice. We learn new words and read interesting stories. After English, we have Math class. I like Math because it's fun to solve problems. Then, it's time for a break. I usually chat with my friends and eat my snack.
In the afternoon, we have Science class. We learn about plants, animals, and the environment. It's fascinating! After Science, it's time for lunch. I usually bring a sandwich from home. Sometimes, I buy lunch from the cafeteria with my friends.
After lunch, we have two more classes. We study History and Art. In History, we learn about the past, like ancient civilizations and famous people. In Art, we get to be creative and make drawings or paintings.
School ends at 3:00 pm. I take the bus home and arrive around 3:30 pm. Then, I do my homework and spend time playing with my little brother.
