MARDIGRAS in New Orleans

Activities
The biggest of the 80 parades happens over the weekend. People showcase their culture through floats, costumes and musical ___(3)___ with eye-catching dance performances and lively music.
Food
Why not attend a King Cake party? Try the ___(4)___ pastries with purple, green and gold icing. If you get the piece with a plastic baby inside, you have to bring the King Cake next year.
Tickets & Prices
The carnival is free, and it is best to watch from the street. ___(5)___ great locations include Canal Street and St. Charles Avenue. However, ___(6)___ having the best views, you can buy a grandstand ticket for 10−80.
Transport
Many roads are closed for the parades, so it's a good idea to stay in the city centre and get around on foot. You can take a leisurely walk around at quiet times.
