1.1. Teach For Vietnam
In rural Tây Ninh province, Teach For Vietnam (TFV) has become a powerful example of how community service can improve education and bring social change. The organisation sends young university graduates, called teaching fellows, to local schools where English teaching has often focused only on grammar and writing. Their work is not just about teaching English but also about serving the community and supporting equal opportunities for students in disadvantaged areas.
Through their voluntary work, these fellows introduce new methods that make learning more active and enjoyable. They design lessons that include singing, acting, and group discussions, helping students become more confident in using English.
